About the Author

Shaz Lawrence is the author of the brand new teaching curriculum - Chinese Monster Magic. All 10 Modules are now available here and through Amazon.com and Target. Shaz Lawrence has been involved in starting up a number of new Chinese language programs both in the US and Australia.

She attended Taipei University to study Mandarin, and received a Level 3 certificate. She also studied Mandarin at Nanjing University where she completed two Intensive Language courses. The Australian Government provided her with Grants that enabled her to study the Chinese language.

She has taught all grade levels and most recently taught Chinese at St. Michael's College, Adelaide, Australia. Part of her motivation for creating "Chinese Monster Magic" is to give teachers the necessary tools to teach young students how to read, write, and speak Chinese in a fun and challenging way.

All Modules in the series include a Teacher's Guide, a Student Workbook, and a Learning Portfolio. Please take a minute to browse around the site and give feedback about the materials.
